TDMN: Local Organizing for America group rallies to support Obama’s health care reform
Texas critics of Obama’s health care plan have questioned the effectiveness of holding such rallies in Dallas, since much of the opposition from the plan was coming from more conservative Democrats in Congress.
“The bill currently in front of Congress is too much of a risky scheme,” said Dallas County Republican Party Chairman Jonathan Neerman. “I don’t think they are going to sway the ‘blue-dog’ Democrats. None of them are here in Texas.”
