Dallas County Commissioner Maurine Dickey Endorses Jonathan Neerman
Jonathan Neerman announced today the endorsement of Dallas County Commissioner Maurine Dickey in his campaign for Chairman of the Dallas County Republican Party. Commissioner Dickey joins State Senator John Carona, State Representative Dan Branch, and State Representative Thomas Latham in endorsing Neerman’s vision for the County Party.
Dickey said “I am excited that Jonathan has thrown his hat in the ring for Dallas GOP Chairman! Jonathan brings youth, vitality, and new ideas to our Party. We have an opportunity to join together and rebuild our organization with his leadership. We are fortunate to have a person of his quality to help us meet the challenges ahead.”
In accepting the endorsement, Neerman said “I am honored to have the support of Commissioner Dickey. She is a leader in the community and a role model for the grassroots movement. I look forward to standing with her as we work to elect Republican leaders in the County.”
Neerman is a native of Mesquite and an active leader in the Republican Party. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University and George Washington Law School. Jonathan served our county as an intelligence officer with the Central Intelligence Agency before returning to Dallas in 2002. He and his family reside in Lake Highlands.
