The Hispanic Advisory Council is made up of key community and elected officials from across the County who will advise Jonathan on issues important to the Hispanic community, as well as play an active role engaging and mobilizing Hispanic voters in their local communities. Veterans for Neerman
Many of Jonathan’s most dedicated supporters in the County are veterans, including his father, Charles Neerman (USMC). Jonathan worked closely with all branches of the military in his service with the Central Intelligence Agency, including his time with the Balkans Interagency Task Force and the Counterterrorism Center. Veterans for Neerman is made up of retired senior ranking officers and non-commissioned officers, as well as elected officials. Join »

Neerman’s Team Green
Jonathan shares a deep concern for the environment and a love for the natural surroundings in Dallas. Jonathan is an avid runner who enjoys White Rock Lake, the Katy Trail, and the wealth of neighborhood parks in Dallas. The Neermans have “gone green” in their daily life by recycling at home and work, driving a hybrid vehicle, and spending time in the local Lake Highlands community garden. Jonathan’s environmental advisory committee (Team Green) is made up of Dallas-area residents who share Jonathan’s love for the environment. Join »

Educators for Neerman
Jonathan values the importance that public schools play in our community. Jonathan’s mother and three aunts were all school teachers in Singapore, and his wife received an education degree from Texas A&M. Jonathan is dedicated to providing all of the necessary resources to ensure a quality education for all students in Dallas County.
